Note: This cache requires a password to log.

This is the WBTV Tower, built in 1984. There are four towers in top 20 tallest towers in North Carolina right here within sight of each other in the Dallas area of Gaston County. This tower being the 2nd tallest in the state at 609.6m (2000ft). There are 20 towers in the U.S. that are 2000ft, so this is really a tie for 3rd tallest tower in the country (a 20-way tie though).

Coords will take you to the gate. They do now allow you to drive any closer to the tower. You will see a white sign. The seven digit number is what you will need for the log password (not the phone number).

Try to take an artistic picture for others to enjoy, but the best viewing area might be the corner of Springs Road and Bob Friday Road (or somewhere on Burton Lake Road). Y'all tell me where the best spot is located as we visited this cache on a foggy day and I could only see maybe 200ft of the tower. Please no night caching. Thank you.
