This virtual cache will take you only the C&O Towpath. Although they don't allow physical caches there, they do in fact allow virtual caches there. The total hiking time will be about 1.3 miles. As the property is owned by the National Park Service, please search for this cache during daylight hours only.
Built in 1848, Sideling Hill Creek Aqueduct is single span, approximately 110 feet long. It is situated close to mile 136 on the C&O Towpath.
There is a confirmation code for this cache. On the grassy area between the two sets of bricks (in front of the bridge), you'll see rusted steal beams. The confirmation code will the the number of beams there spelled out (not numercal).
