Description EN
This geocache is located along the trail called the Mason Jar in Black Mountain Adventure Park. Finding the geocache should not be a problem once that you reach GZ, but getting there is not a easy task. It's in a OHV Park, and it's not easy whatever means that you use to reach GZ at 3057 feet elevation full of rocky terrain and mud holes. Also there is a fee to use the OHV Park, I'll post a link to their site so you may be advised. The Mason Jar has to be one of the baddest trails in the Park, it's a rock crawler trail that eats Jeeps. We enjoy riding our ATV's here, and when the Park is not too busy we come up here in my 4x4 Truck, but stay on the main trails that are rated class 3 or less. I have set here at GZ and watched people destroy Jeeps and Rock Crawlers just trying to get over the boulders at the trailhead. It's really a great view from here. When I placed this geocache it was Mothers Day and we were on a family outing on a rainy day. It was quite muddy and we made a slow 3 hour trip up trail 10 to Middle Fork and around trail 12 to Malfunction Junction, then to 4 poles overlook, and then to the Mason Jar trailhead. That is about a 12 mile round trip back to the trailhead near Evarts, Kentucky.
