Constructed in 1922 in memory of the residents of Saltfleet who gave their lives in both World Wars and the Korean War. The Cenotaph consists of a bronze statue erected on a granite plinth. It was restored in 1990. The Monument was contributed by Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 622.

The cache is hidden a respectable distance from the memorial, but within the parkette. It is not hidden on any man-made structure or object. take some time while you're there and consider how many brave men and women left their families and risked their lives, how many lost their lives in the wars. Would you go? Would I go? Makes me appreciate that they did go.
Cache is a small plastic bottle, should be an easy find but there's a clue and spoiler pic which will pretty much give it away. Bring a pen and please rehide it well.

This cache was placed on 18 Jun 2013 and was published on garmin's listing site. It was found once during that time - on 18 May 2014. Today I checked the cache and all is well. The original logsheet was left in place. The cache will now be listed exclusievly here.

You can park in the nearby church parking lot most of the time. Sunday morning might be a bad idea, unless you plan to attended the service while there.
