Description EN
Taylor Creek (TC) is a neat adjunk off the St John's River that runs South of Hwy 520 in Brevard County, Florida and then continues further buts it soon looses it ability to allow small water craft like a kayak unless the rains have been heavy.
If you launch at the noted additional waypoint then head on to TC you will go through a culvert under H520 then a great cyprus section for about 1.5 miles. Depending on the water level, portage may take place.
Be sure to take plenty of water and be mindful of Florida's singer, the mascuito.
You will be looking for a laminated tag at the posted coordinates with the numeric Log Code.
Enjoy, and watch out for our local critters.
Also, consider continuing your paddle to a "dead end" where you can also find a Terracache as well as a Geocache.
