Who doesn't appreciate their picture with the Washington Monument in the background?!
To log this cache, get your picture from the webcam and upload.
Webcam URL: http://app.ddot.dc.gov/
You'll need to do several things to access the webcam at the DC DOT site, as follows.
Click/check the DDOT checkbox near the page bottom.
It may help to use the upper-right pull-down to Change Viewable Radius: to 4 miles
Navigate to Constitution Ave and 17th St using the map, and click on the locator icon
OR
Using the Select Camera Location pull-down, choose the Constitution Ave @ 17th St camera
Maneuver yourself into view of the camera, and take a screenshot. This should be doable on the sidewalk at the corner without being in the street.
Note: The Farragut West, Federal Triangle, and Smithsonian Metro Stations are several blocks from GZ, more or less a half mile or so away.
