Welcome to the Museum of South Texas History (MOST History)! As you visit our fascinating exhibits, you will discover the rich heritage and blended culture found in the Rio Grande Valley between South Texas and Northeastern Mexico.
The Museum is open to the public every day except Mondays and most national holidays. Hours are as follows:Adults: $7.00
Senior Citizens (62 and older): $5.00
Active Military (with ID)$5.00
Students (12 and over with ID): $5.00
Children (Ages 4-12): $4.00
Children (Ages 0-3): Free
FRIENDS of MOSTH: Free
Free parking for Museum visitors is available in the main parking lot on Closner Boulevard (Business US 281) and in the overflow parking lot on Kuhn Street on the north side of the Museum. Additional weekend or evening parking is available in the Hidalgo County Courthouse parking lot on McIntyre Street on the south side of the Museum.
To log the cache, post a picture of you and/or your GPS with the guest book. If your camera is your GPS, then a picture of your signature in the logbook will be sufficient.
The posted coordinates are to the main parking area. The entrance to the museum is neaby and the guest book is straight inside the main entrance.
