Description EN
NO BUSHWACKING IS REQUIRED TO FIND THE CACHE.

At the posted coordinates you will find a sign with some useful information about one of the club's most notable members.  Joseph Pulitzer, Pulitzer was one of the 53 charter members of the Jekyll Island Club.  One thing that made pulitzer stand out from the other club member is that he was a recent imigrant, while the other members of the club were all from well established famlies.  These included the Rockefellers, the Vanderbilts, and the Morgans.  Another interesting anomaly was that Pulitzer was a __________.  (how many letters are in the word?)  Call this "A"  While all of his friends and other members were ________  (how many letters in the word?)  Call this "B"  Use A and B to calculate the coordinates to the second stage.

Stage 2 Coords:  N 31°.03.5(A-4)4  W 081° 25.40(B-9)

At stage 2 you will find another obvious sign.

Originally the club members traveled to the island, along with supplies by boat.  These boats were either personal or Club owned boats.  The first of the Club owned boats was the ___________Use the number of letters in the name of this boat, call that "C"

This sign also mentions a captain who escorted members of club to the dock for many years.  His name was ____    ____ Use the number of letters in the first and last names of this person, call those "D" and "E", respectively.

Stage 3 Coords:  N 31° 03.6(C-6)8 W 081° 2D.41(E+4)

At Stage 3 you will find yet another informational sign.

Club members such as the ________and the _______  (same as above, the # of letters in each is F and G ) had private railcars that you bring them to the city to the west of Jekyll, Brunswick, this is where they would begin their migration to Jekyll.  On the sign here you will find the picture of a luxuious place off to the west.  What is the 3rd word at the top of the photo.  Take the 8th letter in that word and convert it to a number where A=1, B=2 etc.  this will give you "H"

Stage 4 Coords: N 31° 03.(F+1)61 W 081° 25.HG6

At stage 4 you will find a large object with an informational sign.   It is __ I____yrs old. It is ____J__ ft limb to limb.  It has a girth of ____K ft.  Use the numbers to calculate the fifth and final stage.

Final Coords:    N 31° 03.(547+J) W 081° (K+2).(I+50)

PLEASE ..... for the sake of future cachers, hide this as good or better than you found it.  It is relatively well hidden nowI would like it to stay that way if at all possible.  Please watch out for muggles.

Have fun and enjoy the rest of the area while you are out for this cache.
