First things first. Please Do Not Take the Thumb Drive. When I placed this cache, there was only one .txt file on the thumb drive. You accept all responsibility for accessing the thumb drive.
Although the description page states that there is no container for this cache, there is. It is a small lock-n-lock. I was not confident in cementing this into an object and having it work due to the wear and tear of mother nature. On the thumb drive you will find a text file named: Dead Drop OCUS Cache. The log book for this cache is contained in that text file. There is also a "log password" within the file. Please take note of it.
This is the first Dead Drop cache I have had any involvement with, finding or placing. Hope you enjoy it. Please share any constructive criticism you may have. Thanks!
The reason for the "not 24/7" is that the nearest parking is patrolled by security and they do a good job. They get a little excited when you park in the vacant lot on the north side of the mall. I'm not sure why, but they don't seem to be concerned about non-customers parking at the suggested parking coordinates. Probably because they're use to seeing people accesss the trail from this point.
The trek to GZ should be relatively easy with very little bushwhacking if approached from the provided TH waypoint (TH is NOT the B&A Trail). The trailhead is just off the B&A Trail. The B&A Trail is a dawn to dusk trail, please respect that. Stay on the trail until cache is to your right, there you will find another gully/trail going up the hill towards the cache. There are however other access points that would require a much longer hike and plenty of bushwhacking. The provided waypoint is best used during daylight.
