Added a few more opencaches to the Hamilton area today. This one was placed about 35 meters off the main Red Hill Valley Trail. It's uphilll all the way. Watch for raspberry vines, there's quite a few around. Apparently there's a trail at the top of the hill too, but it's probably easiest if approached from the bottom.
The container is a small (50 mL) plastic tube. It holds the logsheet and a pencil, and that's about all it can hold. Please replace exactly as found.
Should be accessible year round, will be more difficult after rain / snow.
Parking is available at the end of Greenhill Ave (near the Redhill Expressway overpass), and in the "Rosedale Park" sports area, beind the Rosedale Arena (43.217427, -79.804851). See Additional Waypoints for parking locations.
The King's Forest is a great place for geocahing and hiking, and it's full of caches listed on Geocaching.com including a two excellent Wherigo's. There is a geocaching.com hide listed near this one, but I hide this cache months before that one was placed. There's little chance of getting the two caches confused for each other.
This cache has been in play since September 2012 and was listed on opencaching.com. It has been found once, in January 2013. I have checked on it several times since then. I am archiving all of my caches listed on opencaching.com and listing some of the better ones here at opencaching.us. I also plan to add new caches here as well. These will be OCNA exclusive listings. So if you see it listed here, it is not listed anywhere else (unless otherwise stated).
