Welcome to our first MP3 cache.Cool

If you haven't done one of these before, you will need to download the associated MP3 file in order to find this geocache. The walk through this Langley park will be familiar to many, and is popular as it provides easy access! Please respect park hours of 06:00 to dusk, and use extreme stealth when finding and replacing the geocache.

We searched a few different hiding spots in the park and chose this one as it should be lower muggle risk with no brambles/nettles.

Start the audio when you are at the parking coordinates and ready to go, then follow the audio clues in the MP3 to find the geocache.

Assume we walked a slow-moderate pace to accomodate all geocachers. We'll provide you updates on what you should be seeing around you as you walk. Hopefully this will be an easy find by following the hints along the way, and the very specific description once you are at GZ.

Have fun, and don't forget to "cache safely, and cache often!"

1 15 January 2017 Moxyscott Found it

North of 49 (AKA Gottagonow) K9 and I had a slippery winter walk. Lots of bird song at GZ but on the walk it was mostly heard on the recording!  My first experience with this type of cache and it was lovely. Thanks LANMonkey. We found the container partly filled with frozen water. I knocked most of it. Smashed off what was clinging to the treasure. Cleaned the rim and o-ring and replaced. The log was mostly dry but the cache note at bottom of container was disintegrated. I don't think this container will keep out the usual elements.

Enjoyed a walk in the park with Moxyscot and K9. Moxy's first cache on this site turned out to be a first to find! I had trouble hearing the recording with the background noise but Moxy didn't. And trouble keeping up with the pace on the ice covered path. But we really enjoyed the different experience and found the cache where indicated. A bit wet but log was dry. Tftc LANmonkey
