Route 66 State Park Visitor Center
This OpenCaching North America Guest Book Cache is located along the historic and infamous Route 66:
The posted coordinates will bring you to main entrance to the Route 66 State Park Visitor Cente. The guestbook is inside, straight ahead after entering through the doors.
This Visitor Center is free! Check out the Gift Shop and help support the museum.

View the historical display area of the park's visitor center, complete with Route 66 memorabilia. Wandering among the display items, you will see the rich architecture of the buildings and towns that graced the roadways of Missouri from the 1930s to the 1960s, and souvenirs that long ago travelers bought on their journey across Missouri on Route 66.
A gift shop, specializing in hundreds of Route 66 items, is also located in the visitor center building

Logging Requirements
To log this cache, you must sign the Guest Book. A photo of you at the guest book, or inside the Route 66 State Park Visitor Center, is also required – this is to prevent “arm-chair” logging. Logs without photos will be deleted. You can upload a photo up to 500kb in size or you can share your expereince and post your photo to the OpenCaching North America page or to the Geocachers United FB group.
If you arrive and find the Route 66 State Park Visitor Center to be closed, you may log a find if you post two photos in your “Found It” log:
2) A photo which clearly shows the building to be closed (i.e. a view through a window showing the inside of the building is closed).
