We finally made it up to Mackinac Island in July 2012.  Every summer, we trek up to the island to ride bikes and look for geocaches.

 

Here's the story.  If you want to log this one, you'll need to be patient.  The webcam only refreshes about once every 15 minutes.  If you only use your smart phone, it may take clicking on the link several times over a period of about 30 minutes.  We recommend using the phone a friend option and having someone next to a computer that can frequently hit the refresh button.

Thanks for creating this cache.  One of the waitresses in the restaurant next door knew about the webcam and knew all about geocaching.  She said lots of geocachers visit the restaurant.

We're posting two photos: one of us in the webcam and one of the front of the bar.  That's D&J in the lower right hand corner. D is wearing a white shirt. If you look closely at the photo of the bar, you'll see the webcam in the upper part of the photo on the wall of the building.

Hi, 

The Webcam is refreshing.  When I first pulled it up, a guy was riding by on his bicycle,  a moment or two later, I refreshed the page and the guy was gone.  I'm looking forward to logging this one in June when we make our annual trip to Mackinac.  Thanks for creating this one Cyclops.  

Just FYI, Mackinac Island is a great place to Geocache.  I also have two virtuals on the island listed on opencaching.us.
