Cool  3400th overall cache find AND my 100th OpenCaching.US find!  Cool

Looks like a great place, between its history and it's current use.  I'll definitely need to get back by to celebrate, when they're open.

After grabbing this one, it was finally time to head "home" to my hotel for the night.

Yuck made me stop here since it was on the way to our next destination. They weren't open yet, but someone was inside as the back door was open. I was fully expecting them to come out and question what we were doing, but fortunately that didn't happen. I knew all about the history of this place from back in my waymarking days, since this place is on the National Register of Historic Places. Nice to come back and see it's still in business too. TFTC.

I was in town with a large Northtowns contingent, and HavocGeo, who is not part of the Northtowns contingent, but she's OK, I suppose. I had to leave them though, because it was Memorial Day weekend, and my yard looks like crap, and I'm lucky Mrs. Yuck allowed me to come out this way for even 2 1/2 hours of caching. I found this after I left them, and it was the only one I had time for. I shall return in a few weeks though, after I qualify for Mick's 366 Day Challenge effective the middle of June.

Yeah, I've seen several of this style of historic gas station, but only one other one in Metro Buffalo, in North Tonawanda, and it's considerably larger. Definitely cool, thanks for pointing it out! I actually didn't buy anything from the Ice Cream shop proper, but I  bought a soda from their machine. TFTC.

1st find for the beer bbq and bit cache day. I found 21 out of 22 plus 1 froggy cache. I have to tell you once again how much I enjoyed my day.<br /> A great tour and and fun event with good food, good caching friends and a few brews to wash it down. I am truly looking forward to going after the rest and am planning on putting out a few of my own. The BIT cache offers you a chance to visit an interesting place that may not be suitable for a physical cache.
