Quick one night stop-over in Gettysburg as we headed for Florida. Was nice to have a couple hours in the evening and again in the morning to walk around and see the many sights, but clearly we will need to return there again because there was so much to see. After an early breakfast overlooking the battlefield, I enjoyed a peaceful walk with only the occasional car passing by. I can only imaging how busy this area must get at times, but it was very quiet around there on a cold weekday morning in early December. Really glad we stopped and look forward to visiting again another time. I really wanted to get to both of your OCNA virtuals at Gettysburg but one will have to suffice for now. Thanks DudleyGrunt

Excellent (and educational) Memorial. Thanks for making a virt for your home State. I would have done the same, but Mrs.Yuck sort of suffered an injury at Gettysburg. Looooong story. Excellent "you really have to look for it" log password too, you're good at that stuff.

Second day at Gettysburg and got out first thing in the morning before my daughter awoke. This was the closet cache to our motel and was a nice way to start the day. TFTC

I was spending the week in Emmitsburg, MD for a class and decided to take a Gettysburg side trip to soak in some history. This was one of eleven stops I made after class was over, consisting of 2 OCs and 9 TCs. Thankfully these sites still allow virtuals so cachers can be exposed to these sites they may otherwise overlook.

This was a site I have driven by countless times before without taking the time to look at this particular monument. Thanks for bringing me here.

Okay this is getting frustrating. I know I have the correct password (but I guess I don't), but it won't take it. Little help please.

Finally a find today. Don't think this one will come up missing though.

I spent most of the day in Gettysburg seeking mainly alternate caching site caches.My main goal was the Terracaching site as it was rich in caches up here.

Stats: 2 in OCUS, 11 in Groundspeak (mostly virtual and earthcaches) and 16 Terracaches, 1 being a locationaless cache.

I was in the area today, mainly to work on the terracaches, but I stopped by to find a few OCNA caches as well. I was going to keep the car here and walk over to do the terracaches in the cemetary as well, but unfortunately, I couldn't do them today since they don't allow pets, and I had the dog with me. Thanks for the cache!
