Woo Hoo!! FTF #8 on OC Caches!

After getting notification of an update to the coordinates, I just couldn't stay away. I departed work and took a different route that would get me to GZ the quickest only to be twarted by a police blockade that was checking everyone's driver's license, in the middle of rush hour traffic. Other than that, i got to GZ rather easily and pulled up and this time, spotted the cache before I got out of the car. FYI, it was about 20' past where I stopped looking last time because I thought it was supposed to be "in line with the last row of parking". With these new coordinates, it put me well away from where the last set was taking me.

ARRRGGGHHH!!!! DNF #2

This time armed with the "correct" coordinates and an alignment recommendation from the CO and I still came up empty. I even climbed up on the wall and looked around with no luck! I was going to keep looking but I turned around and saw one of Charlotte's finest sitting across the parking lot. Not sure if he was watching me or not, but I decided to depart the area and not wait to find out.

I will blame this DNF on user error. The coordinates I put in was off and I was way out in the parking lot no where close to anything that could possibly hold a cache. I was a little pressed for time so I didn't pull it up to verify the coordinate. I will have to come by another time.
Back to the geocache listing
