Quick little virtual on our way through the area.  Cool to find little places like this every so often, may have to come back.

A fellow geocacher reported that it seemed like there had been a change at the site, and, indeed, there was when we checked it today.  The cache description has been updated so that the answer code remains the same.

I brought L with me and we played around for a little while and figured it out. This cache really engaged us and was fun. Thanks for placing!

#20 of 29 finds today. Spent the day with DudleyGrunt caching in the area. Found hides on 6 different listing services today: GC, TC, OCUS, NC, LbNA and GPSgames.

This was a quick C&D once I saw what needed to be done. Very creative and I actually learned something while visiting the site. TFTC

3193 / 79.  Was out with cycleangela for CAM, TC, & OCNA caches between SoMD and the Fredericksburg area.  It was getting later than we'd hoped, so after this, we decided to head north and hit a couple more.

This was an interesting memorial and not exactly what I'd expected.

I'll have to try to get back to more fully enjoy it, sometime.

Thanks and Happy Trails!

Went out with Dudleygrunt to work on some of the OCNA and terracaches in the area.

I have to say, this one is definitely different, but that's a great thing though. I like surprises!

Thanks for the cache!

TFTC, Great talking with the CO's as always.  Really glad they showed up as well.  Having received the alert while on the road earlier in the day I never had a chance to read the describtion so I just picked up Chloe and headed to the location.  The coordinates were showing in the middle of the parking lot so i knew the CO just had to be off some so I started checking all the usual places. We looked for about 5 minutes or so before I had Chloe go to the vehicle and start reading the description for clues.  About this time the CO's happened to be driving by and stopped in.  When I told him the coordinates were putting me in the middle of the parking lot he just calmly said "You do realize you are looking for a Virtual Cache."  Do I feel like a fool now or what.  Thankfully they told us or they would have really had a good laugh watching us look for something that wasn't there.  Once they departed  I sat down and read the description and having been here several times before was able to get the code within a few minutes.  Thanks for another wonderful History lesson as well as the lesson to read first before you leap..It could save you time and embarrassment.  Thanks Again!
