Description EN

Here it is Canada, the moment you've been waiting for. the very first BIT cache in Canada!

BE SURE TO NOTE THE PASSWORD - YOU WILL NEED IT TO LOG THIS CACHE!

If you found this BIT cache by accident - that's GREAT! I was hoping you would, that's why I placed it in clear view. Welcome to Opencaching North America. Keep reading.

You've found a BIT cache - BIT stands for "Bound ID Tag" to represent that the cache is bound in plastic. This is a playing card type paperless cache. Each game piece has a serial number on it and this is also the password needed to log the find. Visit www.bitcaching.com for more information on bitcaching.

To log this find, you will need to create a free account at Opencaching North America

The BIT cache is just one of twelve different geocache types available to be found, or placed. Take a tour of the website to find more information, or to search for other caches hidden in Hamilton and beyond.

If you found this cache on purpose (that is, you knew exactly what you were after and visited this glorious location just to find this BIT cache) - that's GREAT too. I'm glad you came, and hope you enjoyed the "hike".

Cache maintenance log:

18 March 2015 - BIT Cache hidden and published on OCNA.

Placement is verified weekly as I frequently travel by the BIT and can see it while driving. I also walk/bike by it frequently enough to ensure the text is still legible. It is holding up better than I expected.
