This is the 5th tallest framework tower (not guyed) in Charlotte. It belongs to CBS radio. It is 496ft (151.2m) tall and easily seen from Tryon or I-77 as you head from south Charlotte towards uptown. It was constructed in 1993.

The building behind it is not that impressive in person, but please check out the satellite view. It looks REALLY cool from above. Lightning bolt? Wink
