Description EN

Barb and I love to explore Sanibel Island via bikes.  It is by far the best way to see the island and what it has to offer.  There are over 25 miles of paved multi use/bike trails all over the island.  We found a geocache at a nearby gazebo then Barb noticed this little grassy trail so she decided to explore it.  We have been coming to Sanibel for over 20 years now and have ridden past this hundreds of times and never knew it existed until today.  We thought this would make for a fun little virtual cache...our first.  You can park at She sells Sea Shells possibly for a quick park n grab.  Otherwise the best way to access this is while walking or biking the trail.  You will see an old stone marker.

To get credit for this virtual you must take a photo/selfie of you with the marker in the picture.  If both are not in the picture your log will be removed.

Below is a link with more information on the history of this marker.
