This Geocache was placed by Troop 150 Scottdale, Pa. (Est. 1995) on February 6th, 2021 in recognition of Boy Scout Week which falls on the week of February 8th which is the Birthday of the Boy Scouts of America (1910).
This Geocache was placed with the permission of the Scottdale Parks Commission at this site. It was strategicially placed across from the Historic Loucks Homestead which is owned and opperated by the Scottdale Historical Society. The Scouts wish to encourage those stopping to log this cache to check out the Historical Society's website scottdalehistoricalsociety.com to learn more about our local history.
