The "Little White Church on the Corner" is located on Range Road 265 at the intersection with Alberta Highway 2, between Athabasca and Slave Lake. A handmade sign on the outside of the church reads:
This Little White church on the Corner was built in 1933 by Mr. Sam Schade. Bill Gormly moved this building to his land who then sold it to the community. In 1949 Rev Park with the help of friends and neighbours rebuilt is for this Church. Rev. Goudy built the living quarters on the back in 1950. At Present Mr. Bill Rueb with the help of the Community keeps this piece of history maintained. Feb 1992.
The church is generally unlocked and visitors are welcome. To log this cache, please stop in and sign the logbook - it is located on the pulpit (the stand that the preacher or minister would read from). Please upload a photo of you at the church. Enjoy the visit.
