Walk the mowed grass trails to the lake area of Headwaters Outdoor
nature area. You are looking for a small, camo taped bottle. BYOP
and no room for TB's or geocoins.
Headwaters is a great area to hike! There is no development, just grass trails that wind through the hills, meadows, and along marshes, and mature woods where you may see deer and will certainly see many different kinds of birds.
The lake cache is located near a platform with benches on the lake, a short walk from the parking area off county road 76 (Home Road).
Suggest you bring your favorite mosquito repellant, and if you plan to hunt the other caches in the area (suggested!), you may want to consider long pants and waterproof shoes. You may also want to bring your camera.
The trails here are an absolute maze. If you think you can easily take the "short cut" between two trails, you may be in for some rough going!
