This is a really nice Welcome Center and Rest Area opened in 1985 and renovated in 2009. It is right off I-77 (and 485) just on the southern outskirts of Charlotte. Enjoy your search and your break. Be discreet going up here.

This cache is not there.  I found the zip tie, but that is all.

This was our second stop in our quick tour of this rest stop, on the way to a nearby event. Experience is showing that plastic labels do not last too long in sunlight and outdoor conditions. We found an intact wire tie, but shredded plastic, and nothing readable. Thanks for trying!

What a mess finding this cache. My gps won't start, had to use the phone but the compass kept pointing the wrong way. Eventually got it to work on the phone. and wandered in the right direction. Another one down #968 GC 939 / OCus 24 / OCom 2 / TC 3.
