I was out caching with my dog in and around Mobile and "The Point". We were kinda disappointed to find only park-and-grab caches. My dog wanted to play in the woods!
So to give my dog a little exercise and to get one in the area that
requires a walk in the woods, I chose to place this one at the Weeks Bay
Reserve. Although only a half mile from the trailhead, it is a
rewarding and educational little stroll in the woods with a platform to
view the bay as a reward. I hope you enjoy it.
The coordinates take you to an information sign at the entrance to the viewing platform. Note the first word on the sign. It's the Password. Enter that word in ALLCAPS to log the find.
These are the woods in the deep south, so keep an eye out for the harmful
bugs and reptiles indigenous to a place like this. Every time I have
visited here, there has been water on the trail. There are boardwalks,
but waterproof boots are still a good idea.
