Description EN

These are the very iconic tri-towers located in southwest Charlotte off of Nations Ford Road. They belong to WBT and have unique shapes and colors. They are easily seen from I-485. Although not part of my tallest towers series as they are only roughly 600ft tall guyed towers.

From the wiki: "WBT (known on air as News Talk 1110) is a radio station in Charlotte, North Carolina, broadcasting on the AM dial at 1110 kHz. A 50,000-watt clear-channel station, it can be heard across most of the eastern half of North America at night. It simulcasts on WBT-FM, at 99.3 MHz in Chester, South Carolina. It is owned by Greater Media."

These are only 3 of 8 in the country of this shape. The wiki also has a picture of two of them knocked over after hurricane hugo.

Please take an artistic picture for others to enjoy. No night caching. Thank you.

Parking area --- You can park closer, but Nations Ford can get kind of busy. I parked here when placing the cache and had no issues then pulling out onto Nations Ford Road.
