Description   EN

This cache is hidden in Franklin Park along the perimeter trail. This trail is about 3.5 miles long. There is limited access to the trail without bushwhacking so be prepared for a bit of a hike and plan accordingly.

While the trail is mowed and well maintained the areas off trail have lots of vegetation including plants with thorns as well as poison ivy. While caches were not placed directly in poison ivy at the time, plants do grow and you may follow your gps arrow in a different direction so plan accordingly and be aware of your surroundings.

The park is open dawn to dusk seven days a week. Absolutely no night caching.

This cache was placed in coordination with the NOVAGO Sweltering Summer Soiree in August 2013.

2nd of 3 new OCNA in the park, today.  I thought I was doing well on one of the main paths, until I got to within 100 feet and found I would need to bushwhack all the way through to the other path.  It was almost like being in a maze.  I found a bit of a pathand once I was in the wooded bit, it was more or less clear enough.  However, there really wasn't a very good way out to the other trail, so I just made the best of it.  Once through, I made it my way to the cache with no problem.

Again, happy not to be FTF, but this time there was only one other name on the logbook.

Took nothing and left an MGS Pathtag.

Thanks and Happy Trails!
