This cache is part of the Ghost Train series of caches along the
route of the old Milford to Manchester Railroad. We've long been
intrigued by the Milford and Manchester Railroad that was only in
use for a few short years. A list of this series can be found at
the bookmark:
Ghost Train Series
This cache is placed on the old railroad bed in Goffstown. The railroad bed served as the base for Route 114 in a few places but here they are separate.
The best place to park is at the parking waypoint just off of Shirley Hill Road, but if you do park off the Route 114 shoulder, but please be very careful as this can be a busy road.
Please no night caching as there have been some breakins at a nearby junkyard.
I've added a Trailhead waypoint below that will give you access to the railroad bed without having to cross any swampy area.
