This cache is located at Manitowoc County Veterans Memorial Park on Manitowoc’s North side and was placed with the intention of getting you there to enjoy the area, so be sure to walk around and check out this beautiful memorial to our fallen heroes. This memorial was build to honor all Manitowoc counties brave men and woman that made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Please take a moment at the memorial to give THANKS to all Veterans who have served our country.

The large center stone is engraved with these inspiring words. “ Dedicated to those who served and died may their sacrifice forever inspire freedom”

1 30 April 2011 The Searchers Found it

We have known about this memorial for a long time.  Finally took the time to stop for a visit.  Got the information needed for the log and then took some time to read the names. Knew several on the Viet Nam list.  Thanks for giving us a reason to stop today.  This is a very nice area and it was quiet today.
