Description   EN

These are pieces of the Towers from the crash on 911. It is a somber sight still today almost 10 yrs later.

Please take a moment to reflect & remember those that were lost as well as the loved ones left behind.

This facility is also where our Fire Fighters go through training, many of which responded to the sites of the crashes on that horrible day.

There is parking but please be mindful of where you are & park where it is appropriate.

Please add a picture with your post.
Thank you!
Do you remember where you were at the time of the hits on the Towers?

We were late for the anniversary, but stopped by when we had the chance today. I never knew about the rather nice plaques surrounding the girders. Thanks!

I was waiting till 9/11 to make this find. Missed all the speeches this morning but got to spend some quiet minutes here on the way home.

I'm just going back through some of my old finds, and I wanted to give this one a recommendation. I still drive by this sometimes, and the memorial never fails to amaze me!

Visiting here seemed in keeping with the somber tone of the day since I attended a memorial service for the husband of a coworker. Amazing how one can be sad and angry at the same time. Very emotional to visit here, especially the way it is lit at night. Highly recommend this as a night-time cache.

I have wanted to get down here for quite some time to see this. I used to pass by here every day after work about 3 or 4 years ago, but don't remember seeing this before. Thanks for bringing me here. I looked for some information signs, but couldn't find any. I added this to my recommendation list. TFTC
