Description   EN

In 1896 this was the site of a windmil driven waterpump. It supplied water for twelve local homes. Approximately five miles to the northeast you can see a handful of modern windmills the reside on the site of the defunct Bethlehem Steel. But these windmills are not pumping water. They are driving electical generators.

There is a sign at this location that lists many of the interesting locations in the area. Take a few minutes to enjoy the sceenery and learn a bit of local history.

PRETTY SURE WE HAD THE SPOT RIGHT BUT COULD NOT FIND THE CACHE. WE FOUND LOTS OF SPIDERS THOUGH!!

1 23 September 2013 GO Geiger Found it

Found this one awhile ago, but just logging now.  This was actually our first OCUS cache we found, before we even knew what OCUS was.

1 05 August 2011 Mr.Yuck Found it

I'm the 5th finder, eh? Nope, probably about the 12th. Several Seaway Trail cache seekers have stumbled on your unusual little hide here, pal. A lot of them just aren't bothering, or not trying hard enough to find the listing. Wouldn't it be cool if we saw a "found a cache that's not listed" thread in the Groundspeak forums sometime? Found it no problem, and yes, it is indeed a big-time spider lair in the summer. TFTC.

1 30 July 2011 Rayman Found it

Of course while doing the other cache here I had to do this one as well. Actually, I found this one first before working out the coordinates. Pretty neat way of hiding this one. I ended up covered in spiderwebs while retrieving it too. It seems there are spiders everywhere along the lake: railings, trees, benches, rocks, picnic tables, everything! This was an interesting container type that I've never seen before also. Another good hide, TFTC.
