Description   EN

This cache is located on the grounds of Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center and has been approved by their designated geocaching coordinator.

Remember that there are nasty critters over here so you need to ALWAYS be mindful of your surroundings.  Be careful but ENJOY!

Over the years, the CBEC staff have been very open to geocaching. Local cacher, Mother Wolf, has worked as a liaison between CBEC, the Military Association of GeoCachers (MAGC), and the general caching community for the benefit of all, including service events and overnight camping events.  There are a number of active caches on the grounds, in addition to the OCUS hides.

In order to claim this cache, you must simply sign the physical log book.  Of course, I'd also love to see your thoughts and / or  pictures of your visit, as well.

CBEC is a private, non-profit, open to the public.  Visitors please check in at the Visitor Center, 9am-5pm, 7 days a week.  Admission cost is $5/adults, $4/seniors, and $2/youth.  No pets allowed, except for dogs with a paid membership ($20/year).  Please obey all posted signs and stay on trail as much as possible.  More information at: www.bayrestoration.org.

Stopped by CBEC yesterday to check out the new caches they put out and check up on mine.  I was excited to find "Open" Gate to be in terrific shape and good to go.  However, I couldn't locate this one.  Since it has been so long, I didn't recall exactly where it was and it was like looking for someone else's cache.

I've decided to leave it up for now with the good chance that it is there and I just didn't give it enought time.  I hope to swing by again before long with a better replacement than I brought with me.

Since "Open" Gate is available, give this a shot and I give you bonus points if you find it before I come back out.

Good Luck and Happy Trails!

FTF with a group at the MAGC camping meet and greet and CITO event.  The bounce had us expanding our search area, but we got it.  A nice hide.

Smile FTF Smile 8:58 AM. Part of a FTF group,; cycleangela and DudleyGrunt and some cachers we introduced to Opencaching.US; cooley1103, DaisyGirl75 and CrazySanMan to log some new caches here at the CBEC.

We had the CO with us and it took a couple minutes to locate this. Some corrections had to be made to the cache page, but with all of the different GPSrs, the coordinates should be pretty good. TFTC
