Description   EN

A favorite vacation spot for many cachers including us, but our second home is here! We searched and realized no caches relatively close-by. Many muggles may pass you by, so great stealth is needed if you dare to try. Your looking for a sandy cache that blends right in!

3536. After going out for ice cream this evening, I brought my step-mom over to introduce her to geocaching. Made the find (~8:15) after just a moment of looking around. There were handful of folks hanging out on the beach, but they weren't concerned with us. Showed he the contents and what I do when / after I find the cache.

I'd spent most of the day hunting OC and TC caches and managed to clear out all within 30 miles - sadly that is more because there aren't very many, then because I was so prolific.

Just FYI - Dropped off an AMTG Virtual First Australian Geocow ( geocoin, I'd picked up from DudleySeekers in Dudley, NC on Thursday.  Neat, huh?

Thanks and Happy Trails!

While In the area there was no way that I could pass up an opportunity to log an OCus cache. In spite of all the names in the log book and smaller OCus log it appears that I am the FTF for OCus. Actually my son spotted it from the path, no longer "sandy" or otherwise blending in to the environment. Thanks. I have found at least one of yours in Charlotte and was pleased to find my 10 th OCus cache while here. (912) 900/10/2
