In order to find this cache, you will need to answer some questions about Troop 424 of Savage, in particular, and the Boy Scouts of America, in general. These answers will allow you to calculate the actual coordinates of the cache container.
The final coordinates are N 39 AB.CDE / W 76 FG.HJK

B = The first digit in the address of Troop 424's meeting place minus 1.
C = Number of stars on the Eagle Scout Badge

FG = Troop 424 was founded in 19VW. FG = VW+3

NOTE - You will not need to disturb any vegetation to retrieve the cache.
I've added the "GeoHotel" attribute and would be glad to see various GeoKrety or other trackables pass thru.
After nearly 2 years, I've decided to go ahead and list this on Geocaching.com to share the fun and make it useable to our scouts toward their Geocaching Merit Badge. I have, however, added a hint here that will not be on the other listing.

This was my first "real" opencaching.us find! i.e. it was found on my own, and wasn't handed to me. Technically, I "found" one of the other category the evening before. Oddly enough, this was my second opencaching.X find. Had just enough time to stop here before needing to head out back home from a quick business trip... Enjoyed working through the questions before my trip, and making a quick stop while passing through. Was glad to meet you, DG. Took the army tb.
Thought it interesting to mention - 4 is Unlucky in chinese https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numbers_in_Chinese_culture#Four but 2 is lucky https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numbers_in_Chinese_culture#Two , and of course 42 is the answer to life the universe and everything http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/history/42-the-answer-to-life-the-universe-and-everything-2205734.html So 424 is an interesting number...
. ☢ Thanks, DudleyGrunt, for setting this up!
