Just as with my first cache placement, Only a Lad, I would often explore these banks when I lived in Savage during the 7th and 8th grades. I've had this general area in mind for a cache placement for some time.
Park across from the trail head for the "Savage Mill Trail" on Foundry Street near the Bollman Bridge (6am-8pm).
Cache is a small lock-n-lock. Please be sure to re-hide and re-secure in the manner which you found it. You'll see evidence that this area has flooded in the past and the cache may need to be well secured if it does flood again.
IMPORTANT: I've added the "DANGEROUS" attribute to this cache since while out with sfcchaz to search for the original container / replace the cache, we spotted what I believe was a copperhead. Be careful.
NOTE: This wa s originally listed on GC.com and seems to have gone missing sometime between 7/24/10 and when I added it to OpenCaching US. I could not find the cache when I replaced it, but it had been a while since I'd been to it. If you happen to find a ROUND lock-n-lock, please either collect it for me or try to let me know exactly where you found it.
