Bring a public lands map and/or a plat book so you can stay on public lands.
You have right to cross roads to get to public lands on the other side. Private properties are mostly not posted but that doesn't mean you have permission to be on them.Your best bet is to stay on public lands on your way to this cache. This will require some bushwacking.
There is lots of magnetite in the area so a traditional compass may not work well.
Opportunity to pick up some pyrite. Although most of it has been
reacting with air and water and looks like it's been through a blast
furnace. Wouldn't suggest drinking the water around here.
