You are at Pomona Pipe, now a reclaim center for heavy equiptment. They made pipe of all kinds out of clay before the cement & plastic pipe took over. Also Fossils were found in the pit behind the plant that are now in the smithsonian. How do I know, well I help dig them out with the smithsonian guys looking over my shoulder. My freind a geologeist and I were looking for shark teeth when we came across the taranus Rex fossils. It proved this aera was once tropical. Please take care of the cache for future Opencachers.
