Mike's Memorial Cache on the famous ET Highway!
This is a Memorial Cache for a young man, Mike Adams, who died on Nevada state route 375, the famous ET Highway. He was traveling at night towards Warm Springs, Nevada. He encountered a cow crossing the road between mile marker 33 and 34 on the east side of the road. This is open range county and the cows have the right of way. The family have placed a marker where his Jeep came to rest. As he was a Geologist we are asking everyone to place a rock at the marker.
This cache was placed for two reasons: as a loving tribute to a young man who met an untimely death, and to raise awareness of the unnfair Open Range Laws that led to the accident.
