Come visit the Indiana Dunes State Park and sign the Nature Center Guest Book cache.
Located on the southern tip of Lake Michigan, the Indiana Dunes State Park has over 2000 acres for activities such as swimming, hiking, camping, and bird watching. The highlights of the area are the large sand dunes, some rising almost 200 feet above the lake. You can also visit artifacts from the ship-wrecked JD Marshal.
While at the Indiana Dunes, visit the Nature Center and watch the birds feed as you sit in the glass observation room, or spend some time to talk with one of the interpretive naturalists.
The guest book is located just across from the information desk.
The Nature Center is open from 9:30AM - 4:30PM (central time).
The State Park has a $5.00 gate fee/car for in-state residents, $10.00 fee/car for out-of-state residents.
