A cache in the OpenCaching Cemetery Directory (OCD) Series. To add a cache to this series, simple follow this naming convention:
OCD State/Province - Cemetery Name (Township or Community Name)
Please provide some detail about the cemetery in your cache description, and please paste this note at the start of the description. Lets see how many states and provinces we can get to go OCD. Please respect any local laws regarding cache placement. If your state or local cemetery does not allow cemetery caches, then don't do it. Please be respectful anytime you are in a cemetery.
I will create and maintain a list of all the OCD caches, soon. For a list of all OCD caches, click HERE.
Another OCD cache, this time in one of the few cemeteries on the Northern Bruce Peninsula. I actually didn’t know there was a groundspeak cache nearby when I placed this as I didn’t have it loaded in c:geo when I visited.
And I won’t even tell you about the great sandy public beach just up the road, as I want to keep that a secret.
A nice well-kept cemetery here. Before you find the cache, head over to N45 14.925 W81 38.672 and take a look at the unique grave marker and memorial for Sarah, a lady who died far too young. It’s a really nice tribute they put together, and still very sad.
The cache is a micro tube, bigger than a bison. It’s hidden low on the backside of a large red pine near the cemetery “dump pile”. Watch for poison ivy, it’s around but not too abundant and I was able to step over and around the little that I saw.
There are some unique and unusual headstones in this cemetery, not all slabs of granite or limestone
