My 2nd OC cache. I stumbled around for awhile, over shot, stayed in the clearing far too long trying to get a signal with my expensive GPSr, finally gave up on that and went back to the iphone map which is notoriously off, but it finally guided me back in the general direction and spotted the container in its unique position. I've been thinking about a hide like this. Twice now TH has placed a hide in the last half year that I have wanted to do and then I discover he's just done it himself! Dang it. Oh well, I like to think great minds think alike, but in reality I'm nowhere near on the same level as the great TermiteHunter. ;-)

One for three today of TermiteHuner caches and this one being the first unassisted find, and maybe the first unassisted find of any cache in North Carolina. After spending an hour on Open Waters I budgeted thirty minutes for the one. But what to my wanderring eyes should appear when approaching GZ: the cache container. How about that! Thank you TH for a rare realitively easy find.

Yep, it's in plain sight alright, that's why I couldn't find it, couldn't see the forest for the trees or something like that. Finally made the grab in the company of the owner who enjoys this great park as much as I do. Signed in as FTF on my second ever open cache, TNLN, came out for the exercise and the thrill of the hunt, got both on this one. Thanks TermiteHunter!!
