DudleyGrunt and I came down to North Carolina to seek some OCNA caches. They are many, many OCNA caches in the Charlotte area and we wanted to seek them during the current contest going on the OCNA site.

Today I found 45 OCNA cahes, 5 Groundspeak caches, 1 GPSgames.org cache , 1 Opencaching.com cache and several possible Terracaching.com locationless caches.

This was a quick find. TFTC

Was down from Maryland with sfcchaz for a (mostly) alt-caching run thru Charlotte. This was day two, after a surprisingly well attended 0630 (AKA o'dark thirty) event at Krispy Kreme (maybe that explains it).

We had a great time and definitely plan to make a return trip some time.

On the way to tonight's Give Me Liberty... GC event, I had an hour to spare, and saw a couple ocus bit caches not far away, so I stopped here. This was one of those that could have almost bit me (hah) before I saw it. It was a fitting stop because I've been doing a lot of wigle for wifi and towers lately. Took a couple pictures and headed off. The place seemed abandoned - no cars in the parking lot, and there were strange noises on the other side of the fence. Thanks!

I don't know what the big deal is here. Its really not that tall or impressive in fact I had one like it for many years. Of course not being some fancy corporation I didn't have the rotating motor on the mast. #982 GC 948 / OCus 29 / OCom 2 / TC 3
