Made another attempt at this one today, and brought some help!, but we couldn't find it. The CO might want to check to see if it's still hiding where it's supposed to be.

We were within 6 ft according to my hand held and still came up empty handed. Oh Well

No luck with his one today. Not sure if I spotted where the cache once was, but I'll be back!

DudleyGrunt and I came down to North Carolina to seek some OCNA caches. They are many, many OCNA caches in the Charlotte area and we wanted to seek them during the current contest going on the OCNA site.

Today I found 45 OCNA cahes, 5 Groundspeak caches, 1 GPSgames.org cache , 1 Opencaching.com cache and several possible Terracaching.com locationless caches.

Don't let DG fool you,Wink I said he should probably check that location again after reading the size and knowing I ony gave it a cursory look for a larger container. Wink Very nicely done. Container was actually where it was supposed to be. TFTC

Was down from Maryland with sfcchaz for a (mostly) alt-caching run thru Charlotte.  This was day two, after a surprisingly well attended 0630 (AKA o'dark thirty) event at Krispy Kreme (maybe that explains it).

Was glad to log the nearby GS puzzle after reading the warning on the cache page and deciding to look around.

We had a great time and definitely plan to make a return trip some time.

OK, it's been 25 months and I've returned to redeem my previous DNF.  And I actually made the find vs. having chaz save me.  It's safe for others to come hund this one now.

I think I may have recently found the more difficult version, so maybe that helped me this time.

Thanks and Happy Trails!

not easy enough for me today.

Was at the park to find another TH cache for the GCGC relay and figured I would give this one a shot since I was there.  It probably would have been a quicky had the container not fallen and gotten buried by leaves.  It brought back memories of our search for "the other" more difficult TH cache in the park.  After reading all of the other logs maybe this one needs a little work to stay intact.

I had a great time with your caches today, TH.  Three finds (two GC and this one OC).  I also checked up on the Walrus.

This cache took quite a bit of looking (not quite an hour Wink), but it did test me a little.  I was pretty sure I knew what I was looking for... but the problem was WHICH ONE!

After happening on the right hiding structure, the cache was spotted pretty quickly.

Thanks for the cache, TH!

(See, people still hunt OpenCaches!!!!)

Bummer. I too found this one not as the CO intended. Fortunately, I now cache with extra cache maintenance gear and was able to fix. I won't go into anymore details than that. I took before and after pics and I think the CO is satisfied with the result *I hope*. I'm no TH. ;-)

This is definitely an excellent hide and I'm sure it will keep many cachers scratching their heads for just a bit.

Love this park. So sad that I've cleared it out now. This was my 3rd OC cache ever. I'm starting to like these. Might have to do some outside the park now.

Container is OK now, and log is in good shape. Thanks again for your creativity and giving so much back to the sport.

We actually found this one on the floor near the location. We put it back were it is supposed to be. Final find for the day. What an easy day today. Termite "sasquatch" loves your caches!!!

On the way back from replacing a cache of my own in the park the trail took me right to this new Open Cache. I was amazed that I found it as easily as I did, the container and hiding place being similar to one of TH's mosg difficult caches in anoter park. Replace one; find one one one trip. How about that!

Found it, I remember this being the original location of 13, which I still havn't found. What an incredible container!

Anyhow, the coordinates that I found it at were about 40 feet away.

FTF early this morning as I had the park all to myself. GREAT cache - the container is awesome. I was the victim of a similar cache from this hider several years ago - thankfully I was victorious today! I always have fun in these woods, thanks TH for giving me an excuse to come back to the best park in the world!
