I was here, and I don't remember any shenanigans.  Although there was certainly a shortage in potatoes...weak!  Great job Huck, next time aim for something a little farther south (AKA: Sheetz baby!!!)

Well, the second ever Open Caching event ever held and the FIRST held indoors turned out to be a roaring success. For the first event we had a 12 hour notice and had to brave the cold weather early in the morning. This event nearly doubled our turnout but we had to face the dilemma of having NO BAKED POTATOES!

This spud shortage almost caused  the event to be shut down and sent everyone to the "Plan B" location - Chuck E Cheese down the street where we would gorge ourselves with flat pop and cardboard pizza. But I digress...

Upon entering to my own event fashionably late (5 minutes), I was greeted by two familiar faces  - one of whom I hadn't seen since we had hella sweet tater tots in Batavia so many months ago - Szuchie and Chicky. They were chowing down on some sweet Curly Q goodness while we started to talk about other potential attendees. At that time a man entered the building inquiring if they sold Yuengling Shakes at Andersons. Despite everyone's wildest hopes, dreams, and aspirations - the closest thing they could come up with was some Budlight smoothies. The horror!

Anyway, the conversation then turned to pink phones, new caches nearby, and Ididarods. Let me say that a real man can rock out with his pink phone out. Yeah baby. 

I would like thank everyone that turned out to WNY's second opencaching event and helped make it a very entertaining night. It was great to share stories, laughs, and good times with Szuchie, Chicky, and Cayuga. Thanks all for making it a success!

Well, it had to happen sooner or later, yep, I'm finally logging an Opoencache.
Made a quick stop here before hitting the gym, signed the logbook, said my hello's, had my small Boston cooler and left.
Oh, to a certain participant who decided to complain, if you don't like seeing certain cachers at events or caches, either stop going or man up and keep it to yourself you're just making it less enjopyable for yourself.
Great first planned WNY opencaching event Huck, wish more people had shown up.

That list of attendees looks pretty short right now.   Entice me to come.  Will there be event caches that I can log multiple times?   How about a raffle?  Yuenglings?    Anything???
