Description EN

Over the last few years, Howard County has been working to "improve" the appearance of the Route One corridor.  Part of their plan has included adding more sidewalks, but in some areas, it hasn't been practical for them to be continuous, resulting in sidewalks to nowhere.  Of course, now I tend to noticed other places where the sidewalk ends.

This has brought to mind Shel Silverstein’s poem, “Where the Sidewalk Ends”.  Of course, I’ve also thought that this might make for a good series of relatively easy caches.

This is the fifth in the series.  sfcchaz published #3 and #4.

You can easily park near the end of the sidewalk.

Long before the publication of Shel Siverstein's poem, 20th Century Fox released a movie staring Dana Andres and Gene Tierney with the same name.  The 1950 film-noir / crime story revolved around Det. Sgt. Mark Dixon, who "wanted to be something his old man wasn't: a guy on the right side of the law. But Dixon's vicious nature will get the better of him."

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
