The Devil's Bathtub is one of my favorite little formations in the Hocking Hills area. Because the sandstone around the bathtub is cemented together in such a way that it becomes more resistant to weathering and erosiong than the bathtub itself, the water had no where to go but down. There's a legend that says if you jump in the bathtub you'll pop out in the underworld next to the Devil himself - don't do it though because it's just a legend. The Devil's Bathtub is a fantastic sight to see right after a big rain, but in the picture below, it's just partially filled with muddy water and there isn't any of the famous whirlpool action.
To get credit for this cache, take a picture of yourself with the Devil's Bathtub clearly visible in the background. The password for logging this cache is the 12th word in the second paragraph on the nearby plaque, written just as it is on the plaque.
