Hidden along the Palatka-Lake Butler Rail Trail, part of a series of railways in the North Central Florida area that have been converted to walking and biking trails. Running parallel to the North side of SR 100 in Florahome, this portion of the trail is accessible from several points along SR 100, including cross streets. I have moved this cache from it's original location, as that had become inaccessible. I've also updated the coordinates. It is possible, with a little bushwhacking, to park on the shoulder of 100 and make your way to this cache, but the walk/bike along the trial is a bit nicer. From the trail, this cache can be had without any bushwhacking at all if you have long, skinny arms. Watch out for spiders, wasps, snakes, loose stones hidden by vines, and possibly alligators....this is Florida after all.
