Another OpenCaching North America geocache along the Bruce Trail. Quickest access is from McNeily Rd where there is parking for at least a couple vehicles. This is public land, and the trail is maintained by volunteers from the Bruce Trail club. Hiking only please, no bikes.
We came across this massive slice of tree while hiking the trail. I have no doubt that some trees once grew to that size in this part of the province, but probably not in the last 200 years. And where did the rest of it go?
The cache is a short distance from the giant. 1L plastic container with a few small toys and room for more. Please being a pen and rehide so it is not visible. I'd imaging that many hikers stop to take a look at the giant.

Jan 2025: cache check, all is well. Sadly some morons thought it would be a good idea to build a fire on top of the giant, so it's half gone
