This Geocache was placed by Troop 150 Scottdale, Pa. (Est. 1995) on February 16th, 2021 in recognition of the ending of Boy Scout Week 2021 which falls on the week of February 8th which is the Birthday of the Boy Scouts of America (1910).
This Geocache was placed with the permission of the Scottdale Parks Commission at this site. It was strategically placed in town to allow for those passing through on Pittsburgh Street a quick and easy grab and go cache. When logging this cache the Scouts encourage you to walk around the park, visit the library, check out the local businesses, and, as a bonus to this cache, try to find the Eagle Scout project of the Troop's 6th Eagle Scout, Greg Sinsley. This Eagle Project is in the form of a Time Capsol placed on Sept. 19, 1999 near the entrance to Gazebo Park closest to the Geocache. If you are able to find it let us know in your log!
