This location was devastated with Mississippi's worst hurricane in history, Hurricane Katrina, in 2005. When I was a child there was an island park and rest area that we loved to visit; and over 15 years later it has been restored and is once again a popular resting spot. Be careful of muggles as this location as we saw several groups passing through while we were there.
The geocache required some creativity in hiding, since people will be stopping there and we had to prevent casual muggling. It will require a careful eye to see it. No climbing is required; with a little puzzling you will see that it is easy to access. No special tools are required.
This state park offers camping in the full range from primitive to RV to cabins. It also has a supply store at the office, and a swimming and boating area. There is also a wonderful playground for children -- be warned that you'll have trouble getting them away from the summertime Splash Pad before they turn off the water at 5pm! :) I recommend swimsuits among your supplies.

Happy caching! :)
